Hi there! Read info on another site that is kinda of concerning about CSR. 1) Tipping at PM, included in DDP? Heard yes and no. 2) Food options at PM, read that a few of the stands were shut down. Is this permanent? Should I change resort for 9/10 trip?

    Marilyn,

There are a handful of restaurants that do have gratuities included in the cost if you are using the Disney Dining Plan. As for Pepper Market at Coronado Springs Resort, no, gratuities are not included with the Disney Dining Plan, but that is pretty standard.

As for stands being shut down, you need to think of the Pepper Market differently. This is just a single restaurant with a variety of the manned buffet stations located in artistically themed venues so that you get the feel that you are at an open air market. Some are used for breakfast, some for lunch, others for dinner, some for all meals. They are not independent food vendors, like in a mall food court. So at some meals, some stands will look to be closed down.

I would not change based on this alone. I ate a few times at Pepper Market last December. While I did not consider it a 5-star experience, it was not horrible either. The food was good, and I could get in and out quickly. And there is always the Maya Grill for a server-at-your-table experience.

I am glad to answer any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
