    Hi! I had read that hotel bookings for 2024 open 449 or 499 days in advance, but was since told they aren’t open yet! Has there been a change in Disney policy? Thank you!

    Hiya Bethany!

    Welcome back again to planDisney! I'm so excited to be able to help you! I'm just like you in that I am starting to tentatively plan for my 2024 Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  I am also just like you in that I am eagerly awaiting for them to release the 2024 booking calendar soon!

    It really is a mystery and I have spoken to Cast Members and have gotten some mysterious answers. No one knows yet when the 2024 Resort bookings will be available. Historically they show up in late spring to early summer. However, I just heard it could be even around August of this year! Nothing is confirmed but I do have a suggestion for what you can do as we wait together. Keep an eye on the main Walt Disney World website and the Disney Parks Blog. Eventually, these dates will show up, and when they do they will most likely cover the entire 2024 year.

    January means the return of the International Festival of the Arts! I do hope that when it's time for you to finally book your Resort you will make sure to also plan a day or two in EPCOT! This past year I had only one day to enjoy it and I had so many foods on my list left to try. You need more than one to enjoy it fully.
