I read in another guest's question a reference to a free DDP in October/fall. Can you fill me in on the details of this offer as I have not seen any specifics on this and would like to learn more. Thank you!

Great question, Karen! We have enjoyed free dining for the past two years, and have booked it for this August as well. For the past few years, Disney has offered free Disney Dining Plan in September and October, when purchasing a Magic Your Way package. The offer is usually available to the general public some time in May. For the past two years since we've been using enjoying free dining, they have offered a bounce back, where current guests can book free dining for the following year, as long as it is booked from your hotel room during your stay, which is how we have booked in advance for next year.

Note that the end of Aug through October is typically hurricane season, so there is a risk of inclement weather. We have lucked out weather-wise, and have enjoyed fabulous dining.

    Hope this helps!
