Hi Virginia!
Welcome to planDisney! That sounds like an epic park day!
You’re correct! You’ll be able to purchase
Lightning Lane Premier Pass for Animal Kingdom and
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for Hollywood Studios on the same day. Just make sure you have a valid
park hopper linked to your account before your Lightning Lane booking window opens.
If you have a ticket type that requires a park reservation, you’ll want to make that
park reservation for Animal Kingdom since that’s the first park you’ll be visiting. If you have a date-based ticket, you won’t need to worry about making a park reservation, though!
Your Lightning Lane booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 7 days prior to your check-in date if you’re staying at a
Disney World resort or select good neighbor hotel. If you’re staying off property, your booking window will open at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of your ticket.
On the morning your booking window opens, purchasing each service will be a separate transaction, and of course, both will be pending availability.
I recommend booking and purchasing your Lightning Lane Multi Pass first. That way, you have a better chance at selecting return times for your Lightning Lane pre-selections that work well with your schedule.
Since you won’t need to worry about booking pre-selections with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, I would purchase that service after completing your Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchase.
I hope that helps! Let us know if any other questions pop up as you continue to plan!
