Just read the few questions concerning the "Lovebugs" but I am still confused. When do they show up and how long do they stay? We will be at WDW the first week of June. Will we have to deal with the "Lovebugs"? Thanks for your help.

Hi, Lisa!  Oh those pesky Love Bugs!!  When we lived in Orlando, it seemed like we were taking our car through the car wash every day during Love Bug season just to get them off the front bumper before they destroyed our paint job.  But for you, they shouldn't be as much of a nuisance.

Love Bug season is fairly short, lasting only about three to five weeks in May and again in September.  They are usually gone by June, although you might find yourself at the end of the season for them.  They are completely harmless, and if they are a problem at all, it is generally only in the morning or around sunset.  They don't bite, sting, or buzz, and they are easy to just swat away if you encounter one.

I don't think you will have to worry about them much during your trip.  You should be entering a Love Bug Free time of year!
