Read where your family likes the San Angel Inn. Can you tell me what the Traditional Lunch/Traditional Dinner is on the menu? Is it something separate from the regular menu? Also, can they accommodate a gluten free diet?

    Hi Jaynee!

Thanks for stopping by and asking me a question! I'm glad I get to help AND glad I get to talk about one of our favorite restaurants!

At San Angel Inn, the Traditional Mexican meal is a full meal featuring an appetizer of the Sopa Azteca, a traditional tortilla soup, an entree of Flank Steak with black beans and Flan for dessert. The meal is designed to show the highlights of the restaurant's authentic Mexican flair. Of course, this may occasionally change, so you may wish to inquire as to the dish selection when you arrive.

As for Gluten-free, you shouldn't have any problems at all! From my experiences, there aren't any Disney restaurant I would hesitate to dine at with a food restriction. Seriously, I've never once been disappointed when I've needed to ask for a dish to be modified or about the ingredients in a dish. My recommendation is to note your restriction when making your dining reservation and then again when you check in at the podium. Many times, a chef will even visit your table to discuss your meal with you.

Enjoy your time in Mexico! And please let me know if I can help with any more planning details!
