Hi Brian,
Disney's
commitment to conservation and nature is just one of the many reasons why my family loves and supports this company. While it would be impossible to see all of the ways that they embrace environmental and social responsibility, we definitely enjoy a stop by The Land and
The Seas with Nemo and Friends when we are enjoying EPCOT for a glimpse. I'm glad to see a fellow enthusiast here with us at planDisney!
Yes,
DiveQuest will close after October 19, 2024, as infrastructure work continues on this incredible pavilion. While I don't have an exact opening date to share with you, our pals have announced that they anticipate that DiveQuest will return sometime in 2025.
If you are looking for a different way to experience Disney's commitment to the creatures in its care, there are some other fantastic options.
Right around the corner, you can check out the plants (and fish!) that are being harvested for use in on-site dining establishments around Walt Disney World Resort with the
Behind The Seeds Tour in The Land Pavillion. Are you looking for something a bit more on the
wild side? Maybe the
Wild Africa Trek at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is more your speed. If perhaps an adventure between the two extremes fits your style, check out
Caring For Giants or
Up Close with Rhinos. You might even enjoy meeting the
ponies and horses who live, work, and play on-site with a visit to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
While we will miss DiveQuest for a short while, there are still so many incredible opportunities to explore at Walt Disney World Resort!
I hope that was helpful, Brian! Please come back and see us with any other questions. planDisney is here for you!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
