I've read about the dinner package that offers a meal at Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's or Hollywood and Vine followed by reserved seating at Fantasmic! for a special price. How does this work if you are using the Disney Dining Plan?

    Hi Jennifer,

You are correct that you can purchase the Fantasmic! dinner package and have "reserved" seats for the show later.  The package price is based on the restaurant you choose.  You will eat dinner at the restaurant of your choice and then proceed to the special entrance near Oscar's Super Service filling station towards the front of the park.  Remember this is a real dinner reservation made with a credit card and to cancel you must give 48 hours notice.

Unfortunately, you can not use your Dining Plan for the Fantasmic! dinner package.  However, if you choose the Disney Dining Plan and want to do the Fantasmic! dinner package, you would have an extra table service meal to use on your trip.  This could free you up to take advantage of a dinner show such as the Hoop Dee Doo Revue or Spirit of Aloha.  Or the extra table service meal could go towards a meal at a signature restaurant.  This could be a nice savings depending on how you use it.

Also, if you are looking into the Fantasmic! dinner package to avoid the wait, you may not need to purchase it if you are going when there are two shows or during the slower seasons.

Enjoy the show and the magic of Disney!
