    I've read some conflicting answers in past questions and was wondering if character dining pictures can be put on photo pass or do you have to buy a package of pictures first? What if you have photo pass+? Thanks so much for clearing this up for me!

    Kari,

    Yes, there has been some confusion out there. And with PhotoPass+ being new, there might be more of that as they tweak the program during its infancy. But here are the basics, as I understand them;

    If you have a standard PhotoPass, no, you cannot officially add pictures from your character dining experiences to your account. Whether the packages are paid for, or part of the meal cost, they are a separate program.

    HOWEVER for many of these dining experiences you now CAN add them to your PhotoPass account, if you have upgraded to the new PhotoPass+ program. But for which meals can you do this? At this time it would work for;

    • 1900 Park Fare
    • 'Ohana (breakfast)
    • Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
    • Chef Mickey's
    • Cinderella's Royal Table
    • Tusker House
    • Hoop Dee Doo Review
    • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
    You can only sign up right now for PhotoPass+ in the parks, but you can add the "+" upgrade to a pre-ordered PhotoPass, if you have one of those.

    Does that help clear it up?

    Have a magical vacation!
