    I've just read a comment from last year that if you live outside the U.S. you will just receive a 'grey' magic band on check in to a Disney Resort. Is this still the case? Can we have our magic bands shipped to our friend in the U.S. so we can customise?

    Hi Michele!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   I can understand your concern about customizing your MagicBands for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World.  It's always fun to choose a favorite color and add a personalization on the inside of the band.  My kids love seeing what names I choose for them on each vacation.  I had an Ariel, Flounder and Sebastian on a recent trip and they thought it was precious.

    Michele, you will be able to customize your MagicBands online in My Disney Experience. Since you live outside the United States of America your customized MagicBands will be waiting for you when you arrive for check-in at your Disney Resort hotel.   You don't have to have the grey  bands unless you really want one.  Isn't that great news?
