Hi Miranda! Luck is also known as pixie dust around here, and no, it never runs out! While guests can begin making their dining reservations at Walt Disney World 180 days before their vacations, you don't need to worry that you'll be shut out of character meals completely if you didn't plan that far in advance. You're traveling at a time of year that is not extremely busy, and there are several character meals from which to choose, so I feel confident that you'll be able to have dinner with some of your favorite characters during your vacation, especially if you're flexible about the days and times at which you dine. If you're interested in a particular character meal, you can check availability for various dates now by using the
Online Dining Reservation system. If you search for breakfast, lunch, or dinner rather than searching for a specific time, you'll have a better chance at finding available times. I'm heading to Walt Disney World myself in a few days and I'm still making and canceling dining reservations as I firm up my plans, and most restaurants still have several time slots available. Availability at the restaurants is always changing, so if you don't initially find the reservation you desire, keep trying. On several occasions I've called the night before and secured reservations for Chef Mickey's breakfast the next morning!
