Hello, Amy, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You’ll find the Admiral Joe Fowler, General Joe Potter and/or Richard F. Irvine
ferryboats departing from the
Walt Disney World Resort Transportation and Ticket Center every 15-20 minutes or so.
If you’re heading to
Magic Kingdom Park from the Transportation and Ticket Center, you can also take the
Monorail. The Express Monorail will take you directly from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the Monorail station at Magic Kingdom Park. The Resort Monorail will take you around the main loop, stopping at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa before it reaches Magic Kingdom Park. And if you’re staying at an official
Walt Disney World Resort hotel in the
Epcot or
Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort Area, you can also take a
complimentary bus from your hotel directly to Magic Kingdom Park, too.
While transportation times vary based on a wide variety of factors, the general consensus is to give yourself at least an hour when travelling from one part of Walt Disney World Resort to another. Remember, you’ll also need to go through the security checkpoint, so make sure you give yourself ample time for that as well. Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, you’ll need to enter through the main gates with your
MagicBand or Admission Card, and you’ll also need to pick up your wristband which will designate you as an official
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Guest.
Enjoy your visit to the Party, Amy! It’s one of my absolute favorites. (Pro tip: try to catch the second parade of the evening, as it tends to be less crowded. Also don’t forget your Halloween bag or basket for collecting all of the yummy treats!)
