    I have read that you can take backpacks with drinks and snacks into DW.What can you do with the backpacks if everyone in the family wants to ride an attraction at the same time? Also, can you get groceries anywhere at DW to keep in your hotel room?

    Hi Stacey!
    Historically, Disney prohibited guests from bringing in food and drink to their theme parks.  Disney now encourages guests to bring snack/food and drink items into the parks, with the proviso that glass bottles/containers not be used, and that food not be easily perishable. 
    One option for your family might be to store the backpack in a rental locker.  Available at all theme parks and water parks, the lockers are multi use, which means you can open and close them as many times as you need access to your items throughout the day.  The cost is $7 for the smaller lockers and $9 for the larger locker.  You can place your backpack upon arrival, go enjoy some attractions and return back when you need a snack or a drink.

    At many of the Disney resorts, smaller grocery items, such as milk, water, cereal, snacks and chips are available at the store within the lobby areas.  There is no large grocery on Disney property in which to purchase more items.  One option you may want to look into is GardenGrocer.com.  With a minimum $40 purchase, you can have your grocery items delivered to your resort without worry.
