    I read your 2009 answer to this same question, but I'm wondering if the answer has changed since then. Can I not add the hopper option and instead use 2 days of tickets on 1 day to visit MK and then HS? It seems more cost effective.

    Hi Jaime,

    The "can I use two park admissions on one day instead of buying the Park Hopper" question is one of things most frequently asked of the Moms Panel. There has been no change in the answer.

    You can not use two park admissions on one day to visit two different parks. If you try to do so, the electronic turnstile at the second park will reject your ticket and you will be denied admission. The pricing structure is to Disney's advantage.

    On the plus side, there is flat fee for the Park Hopper option, regardless of how many ticket days you have. This means if you're at WDW for several days, the fee to hop on each day is relatively small.
