Hello James!
Welcome to planDisney! We really are about halfway to the holiday season, aren’t we? It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and
at the Walt Disney World Resort, it is extra magical with gorgeous themed trees, nostalgic music, delicious treats, and all the sights and sounds of the season!
James, my friend Mickey Mouse keeps a pretty good secret, and as of this writing, he has not made any announcements on the holiday offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort. I will make one prediction for you. Please keep in mind that this is just my personal guess, and is not a fact or guarantee, but in the past, the Candlelight Processional at Epcot has not started until the end of November, usually after Thanksgiving. Given the previous timeline for this event, I am thinking that
if this event is offered, it will be unlikely to be offered during the dates you are asking about.
While the traditional Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is not being offered this season, there was recently announced a modified party called the
Disney After Hours Boo Bash. While we don’t know what the winter holidays have in store, I am hopeful that a modified Christmas party will also be offered. In the past, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has begun in early November, so if the party happens and the dates follow a similar timeline, you may have that opportunity. I would stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog because when Mickey decides to let us know, that is where the announcement will first make an appearance!
Please let us know what other questions you have as you plan your magical vacation, James. We love talking Disney and are here to help!
