Hi Nicolas! Thank you for bringing your question to
planDisney!
I have been to
Walt Disney World several times over the past two years and have experienced numerous trips both prior to and during the pandemic. I have been extremely impressed with my experience at the Walt Disney World
parks,
resort hotels,
Disney Springs, and runDisney events during this time. As you may know, there have been
a few changes and enhancements to the parks and resorts to ensure the health and safety of all Guests and Cast Members. One change is the requirement of masks for all indoor attractions, indoor queues, and enclosed transportation areas. Wearing a mask outdoors is optional. In my view, this strikes an excellent balance that considers the health and safety of others while not being too restrictive.
There are several other changes that I believe to be beneficial, such as enhanced technology options.
Mobile Ordering for Food and Beverages is convenient and allows you to order and pay for food while in line for an attraction and pick up when you are ready. This helps limit time in line and offers tremendous convenience. There is also a new
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability feature that allows you to add your party to the walk-up wait list when you are at the park.
I also like the direct-to-room check-in offered through
My Disney Experience. On my last trip, I was able to check-in online and go straight to my room when I arrived.
Of course there are also enhanced cleanliness and sanitation protocols, including easy access to hand sanitizer dispensers.
Overall, I have been extremely pleased with my experience of visiting Walt Disney World during these challenging times. The experience for me has been seamless and all of the changes made have actually enhanced my experience, not detracted.
I hope you have a magical vacation!
Magically,
Stacy
