Rapid refills mugs...You think WDW will eventually come up with a solution; a returning family can return with the mugs and pay a "refill" price and not have to pay for the full price?

It is a great idea, but for now that is not the way they have things work.

Because of the technology they use, and the fact that technology changes all the time, it would be hard to sell you a mug in 2013 and guarantee that they could have future technologies handle both new systems, as well as accommodate all past systems. So it is easy to see how they might do this for someone buying a mug in 2013, returning in 2014 to use the exact same system. But if they find better tracking or drink dispensing technologies in the future, they may be unable to support your 2013 purchase as a "refill" program like you described.

For now you have to plan on the one-visit usage, and budget accordingly. Sorry!

    Have a magical vacation!
