Is Raglan Road going to be on the dining plan in 2009? It is not listed as such but a friend was just there and she said they accepted it. Thanks again for all your help!

Raglan Road is one of the participating restaurants in the 2008 dining plan, but it is not yet listed as a participant in the 2009 Dining Plan.  In fact, the only table service restaurant that is currently listed in the Dining Plan for Downtown Disney is Cap 'n Jack's, but I am very confident that the list will be expanded as we get closer to January 2009.  Keep in mind that many of these restaurants are not owned by disney, and therefore need to decide/negotiate each year regarding their participation in the Dining Plan for the next year.  Historically the non-Disney owned restaurants take longer to finalize.

So, if you want my prediction/bet for participating restaurants in Downtown Disney for the 2009 Disney Dining Plan, I think it will also include Raglan Road, Planet Hollywood, and Wolfgang Puck (downstairs cafe).  I would even be so bold as to bet that T-Rex will be included, but I'd put the odds a bit lower on that one! ;-)  But, again, this is just my prediction, and it isn't based on any inside information from Disney (the "Moms" here just use public info and experience - we don't have access to "inside" info).

My advice to you would be to make the reservations for Raglan Road, and you can always add the Dining Plan to the reservation when/if it is announced that it will participate in the Dining Plan.

    Hope that helps. ºoº
