Hey there, Emily! I am so glad you found planDisney to ask your vacation planning questions.
I remember the days of taking my children to Walt Disney World in their double stroller. While I loved having the space for ALL the stuff, I couldn’t wait until the day we didn’t need to maneuver it through the crowds.
Guests are permitted to bring strollers to the Walt Disney World Resort pending they fit within the stroller size guidelines.
Walt Disney World Resort Rules state that strollers must not be larger than 31" wide (79 cm) x 52" (132 cm) long and wagons, including stroller wagons, are not permitted. Many strollers on the market, including many double strollers, fit within these guidelines. Unfortunately, your Radio Flyer stroller wagon is not only called a stroller wagon, but looks like one, and stroller wagons are not allowed into the Walt Disney World theme parks. Should you decide to bring an actual stroller, I recommend measuring to ensure that it fits within the size guidelines.
Stroller Rentals are also available at all four theme parks as well as Disney Springs. Strollers can be difficult to locate in the sea of strollers outside an attraction, so I recommend tying something on the handle that will make your stroller easily identifiable! A balloon or curly ribbon bow does the trick quite nicely.
You are heading to Walt Disney World at my favorite time of year! Be sure to head over to see the gorgeous giant Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This resort is a quick boat ride from Magic Kingdom and provides a nice break in the middle of the day. Another fantastic resort to visit on the lake is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The Christmas Tree in the lobby is quite a sight, there is a water feature in the lobby, and you can make a lunch reservation for
Whispering Canyon Café. (The bison burger is delicious!)
I hope you have a fantastic holiday vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Happy Traveling,
Tracy
