Hello, i am quite a nervous person and we are going to Disney in September. When ordering food and the refillable mug through the dining plan do i need to say we are on the dining plan or just tap the magic band and it would know to use the dining credits?

Hello there, Kerry-Marie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

I don't know about you but I am an intense planner when it comes to vacations with my family! I always make sure to account for each and every detail of our trip to assure I make the most of our trips. This is one of the main reasons I love vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many ways that they make planning a vacation as simple as possible!

One perfect example of this is the Disney Dining Plan! Guests that are looking to make their vacation more all-inclusive in nature can opt into a pre-paid dining plan known as the Disney Dining Plan. Based on the tier, Guests are given a select number of dining and snack credits that can be used at any point prior to their date of check-out. For me, this takes a lot of the guesswork out of dining budget and lets me enjoy our vacations without that anxiety!

In my experience, Cast Members at dining locations across Walt Disney World Resort tend to ask if you're on a Disney Dining Plan as soon as you arrive at a dining location. This way, they can assist you to the best of their abilities based on your specific dining needs!

I would also suggest looking into the Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering option if you would like to minimize your interaction with people! This service lets you order food and beverages right from the comfort of your smartphone through the My Disney Experience app.

Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
