If I want to use a quick-service meal credit for breakfast, but I don’t want an entree, can I put a beverage, an oatmeal and a package of grapes together to count as a quick-service meal?

    Hello, Jean!

Thank you for your question about one of my favorite topics--Disney dining! I adore planning where and when we are going to dine ahead of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. From Character Dining Experiences to even just a quick snack, planning is a fun way to pass the time during our magical countdown.

Being a Disney food fan, I am thrilled that Disney dining plans are back. It's such a nice peace of mind to know that I don't need to stress over a dining budget when on our vacation. I also feel like I am more open to trying new dishes and new places when using a dining plan. I am not usually a big breakfast person and there are typically options for a grab-and-go breakfast available at most of the resorts. I don't know exactly what choices you'd be able to put together to constitute a quick-service meal, but a Cast Member at the restaurant will be able to walk you through available options when you are there.

You can also look at menus on the My Disney Experience mobile app. In the app, it will usually show if an item is considered a snack when using the dining plan. There are so many delicious snacks all over the parks and resorts and many are large enough to be a light meal. That's a topic for a whole other question!

Have an amazing vacation, Jean! Please come see us again if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
