We have the Quick-Service dining plan but would like to enjoy the atmosphere at a few of the table service resteraunts. Can we make a reservation and then order just appetizers or desserts?

Quick service credits cannot be used at table service restaurants, no matter what you're ordering. You are perfectly welcome to make reservations for and dine at any WDW table service restaurant, ordering whatever you like; however, if you have the Quick Service Dining Plan, you would have to pay for your meal at a table service restaurant using money (cash, credit card, etc.) rather than dining plan credits.
