    What is quickest way to get to Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary Resort if monorail is not running?

    Hi Donna,

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  The quickest way to get to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Contemporary Resort is by walking.  I have stayed at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort many times in the past and have always found the walk to Magic Kingdom Park to be much quicker than taking the monorail from the resort.  You will find there is a nice pathway that many Guests will use to walk between the two locations. The walk itself should only take approximately 10 minutes.
