Hi Stacy!
I'm so excited that you want to experience the
Disney Skyliner! I had a chance to travel the skies of Walt Disney World last December and absolutely loved it. I couldn't believe the incredible aerial views and how much our family loved spotting our favorite characters on the gondolas that passed us by. I especially love keeping an eye out for the Grim Grinning Ghosts of Disney's
Haunted Mansion attraction!
And, hearing that you are pairing your Disney Skyliner ride with a meal at
'Ohana makes my heart happy! I love everything about Disney's Polynesian Resort, but the restaurants hold a special place in my foodie's heart! The only difficult decision is if I prefer Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch or the wonderful, all-you-can-eat dinner topped off by Bananas Foster. Luckily, you can't go wrong with either choice. Either way, don't forget to make a Dining Reservation as soon as you can (up to 180 days in advance), as 'Ohana is a popular choice among guests!
The easiest way to travel from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney's Polynesian Resort is via the Disney Skyliner route to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. The trip to the park via the air is just a few minutes in duration, and then you'll be able to hop on a bus directly to your meal at 'Ohana. This is the quickest and easiest route as the Disney Skyliner route to
EPCOT to use the Monorail would involve having to enter the park at the International Gateway and then exit at the front of EPCOT. Of course, if you already have touring time planned for EPCOT during your day, this may be a good option.
While you're at Disney's Polynesian Resort, be sure to take a few minutes to check out the lounge at
Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. This fun, interactive lounge area is my favorite at all of Walt Disney World. It is the perfect spot for a pre-dinner cocktail or mocktail!
I hope you have a magical vacation and don't hesitate to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help with any other trip planning details!
