Katrina,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
You are in for a yummy seaside treat at
Cape May Cafe! But how should you get home after dinner? Assuming it is not too late at night, I have a great suggestion that will be both convenient, and frankly kind of fun!
After finishing dinner, I would head towards the International Gateway at EPCOT, but before entering the park, I would hop on the
Disney Skyliner. After a scenic, 14-minute flight to the Caribbean Beach station, followed by a shorter 6-minute soar to Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can catch a bus back to your resort. The total travel time, not including the wait for a bus, should be about 45 minutes.
Now there are other routes, like taking a bus from
Disney's Beach Club Resort to
Disney Springs, and then catching a bus from there to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. These two legs of the bus route would also add up to about 45 minutes of transportation time. But you have 2 bus waits, as opposed to 1.
So why do I go with my first suggestion? I have found the Disney Skyliner to be convenient, reliable, and relaxing. I love the views as you get a glimpse into EPCOT, as well as the resorts that you fly over on the way to your destination. Also, the Skyliner is a constantly loading option, meaning that you don't have to wonder if you just missed a bus headed to your destination. I would only opt for the second route if dinner ended so late that Hollywood Studios was already closed for the night, and buses might not be available.
Please feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
