What is the quickest way from the Contemporary to HS? We have Chef Mickey breakfast at 7:45 and I want to get to HS to the Toy Story ride before the wait is hours long. IS a bus straight from the Contemporary faster than the monorail to TTC, then a bus?

Hi Amy! Breakfast at Chef Mickey's is such a fun way to start a Disney day! You're right that you have two ways to travel to Hollywood Studios from the Contemporary Resort -- taking a bus directly to the park, or catching the monorail to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and then taking a bus from there. Even though the direct bus from the Contemporary may stop at one of the other Magic Kingdom resort hotels before taking you to Hollywood Studios, I still think that route will be quicker than then monorail to the TTC route. If the bus stops at another resort, the stop is generally quite brief, and you should be at Hollywood Studios within 20 minutes of boarding the bus. If you have to wait for a monorail and then wait for a bus at the TTC, the trip could take 10 or 15 minutes longer. For that reason, I recommend that you take the direct bus from the Contemporary.

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
