Is it any quicker (or slower) to go thru the castle into Fantasyland? I want to get there as quickly as possible, but want my dd have that Magical Feeling of "arriving" through the castle.

Hey LaDonna and you are right there is something magical about that castle.  However, you can no longer go through the castle to reach Fantasyland.  Unfortunately, it has been closed off for the show productions which take place in front of the castle each day.  So while you can walk up to the castle you will need to go either to the left or the right.  If you are looking for the fastest way, then I would recommend you go to the left of the castle.  Once you reach Fantasyland, you can go into the castle from the backside and she can view the incredible mosaic masterpieces on the wall.
I hope you all have the most magical WDW vacation and thanks so much for coming to the Mom's Panel with your great question.
