Which quick service restaurants do you most recommend for families with children? Are there any that are more fun? or that are more relaxing?, more creative?, etc.

Great question! Not all quick service restaurants are built alike, and we definitely have our preferences.

Among deluxe resorts, Wilderness Lodge is my favorite. They have delicious sandwiches and artisan breads, and efficient service. At the moderates, Port Orleans is tops, if for no other reason than the beignets! And at the values, we prefer Pop Century above the others. It used to be even better when they had a frozen coke machine, but alas, that has been removed.

In the Magic Kingdom, Cosmic Ray's is my children's top choice. The animatronic alien 'lounge singer' keeps my kids distracted, which is always nice! And they have a nice selection of foods, from typical burgers to salads to roasted chicken and BBQ ribs. My personal top pick would be Columbia Harbor House, for the delicious clam chowder!

In Animal Kingdom, we like Flame Tree BBQ and Yak & Yeti, depending on your taste preferences.

In Hollywood Studios...oy. I've never found a quick service restaurant to brag about in the Studios, unfortunately. They're all just run of the mill in our opinion, so we stop wherever we see the shortest line.

Epcot is definitely the cream of the crop for dining! In Future World, Sunshine Seasons Food Fair has the most appeal, with a wide variety of foods and a nice air conditioned location. In World Showcase, we like La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico and Tokyo Dining in Japan. Well, honestly we like them all, but those are the two we return to time after time!

Hope that helps, and happy feasting!
