How are Quick Service Meals deducted? If only an entree is wanted, does the quick service meal include drink and desert and would the whole amount be deducted instead of just the entree ordered?

Hi, Elaine!  The dining plan credit is based on a full meal.  It doesn't break down the meal into components.  When you go to a quick service dining location to order a meal, the credit for your entree, drink, and dessert is deducted from your total.  The plan doesn't allow for you to get your entree, then later order a dessert or a drink.  It all has to be done at the same time.

The only time I've seen an exception made is if you opt for an ice cream for dessert.  You would still place your order and be charged the full credit, but if your order includes ice cream, most of the time, the counter service location will hold it for you until you finish your meal, so the ice cream doesn't melt.

I hope this helps to answer your question!
