Can you take quick service meals back to your resort to eat later? Including drinks. I’m worried my two are too little till last till tea time in the parks and don’t want to have to go back out again to get food.

    Hi Sian,

Absolutely! You are more than welcome to take food back with you to the resort and eat later. If you are referring to the leftover food from a meal you had at the parks, keep in mind that you can ask your server to put the food on a plate with a lid inside a paper bag. They could also pour any leftover drink into a cup. Our resort mugs allow us to bring our drinks with us to the Parks (just make sure it doesn't leak inside a backpack), and I remember asking our server to pour the leftover juice inside my mug for me to enjoy later on in the day.

Remember that the quick service dining area in your hotel is usually open until 11:00 p.m. so you may be able to get food there before going back to your room. They also have plates with lids and paper bags for you to bring your food into your room and eat later.

When using the dining plan, I have many times felt super full to even try some desert at that moment, so I've asked my server to put it inside a baggie. It's just great to enjoy a delicious Dark Chocolate Truffle from Be Our Guest in the comfort of your room as you finalize plans for your next day at the Parks!

Sian, I hope this information is helpful. Thank you so much for bringing us your question and please come back with more. We love to help guests here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel

    Have a wonderful trip!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
