Hi Justin!
We also have food allergies in my family and we have to be cautious about where we eat and the options available.
We have found that Walt Disney World is extremely accommodating in ensuring guests special dietary needs are met. I suggest that you visit the
Special Diets page for more information on common food allergies and options available at all of the parks.
You can also contact Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com for a complete listing of all of the gluten-free and peanut-free options at all of the parks throughout Disney World, so you know what you can expect.
At Blizzard Beach's Lottawatta Lodge and Typhoon Lagoon's Leaning Palms, you can find the following gluten-free options:
Amy's Mac & Cheese
Amy's Cheese Pizza
Breaded Country Fried Chicken Tenderloins
Fresh Fruit Cups
Gluten-Free Brownie
Hamburger on Tapioca Roll
Hot Dog on Tapioca Roll
Rice Dream Frozen Dessert
Silk Soy Milk
Surf Sweets
Tofutti Frozen Dessert
Veggie Burgers
You will want to check with Special Diets on the peanut allergy. Depending upon the severity, you will want to ensure you are aware of any of the products produced in a kitchen with peanut products or with ingredients prepared near peanut products. The list above does NOT take peanut allergy into consideration.
Please know that you can also bring your own food into the parks if the allergy is severe and you need to be extra cautious on your food options.
Magically,
Stacy
