Are quick service dining plans good in the food & wine festival booths? Any idea about how many items you get in a booth to equal a quick service meal?

Hi, Kim! In our experience, Cast Members have allowed us to use Disney Dining Plan Quick-Service meal credits for most Epcot International Food & Wine Festival offerings. There is a bit of a difference, however, when doing this as compared to how meal credits are normally used. When visiting a Quick-Service dining location, you generally select an entree, one non-alcoholic beverage, and one dessert. The way this works when using a Quick-Service meal credit at any of the 30-plus Global Marketplaces at the festival is that you can choose up to three snack credits in one single transaction. Just look for any food or drink items that carry the Disney Dining Plan logo. You will note that drinks containing alcohol cannot be purchased with Dining Plan credits. As an alternative, I recommend you look into the Tasting Sampler, which will provide you with up to 16 vouchers that can be used on most festival offerings, even alcoholic beverages.

One thing to note when using Quick-Service dining plan credits to purchase snack options is that you will need to complete the exchange in one transaction at one location. You will not be allowed to complete the exchange by choosing a drink selection at one location and two food selections from another location. While visiting the Global Marketplaces, this should help you sample many of the best offerings at the festival!

I hope this information helps you plan your dining credits during your visit to the festival, Kim. Please let me know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip.

    Bon Appetit!
