Hi we have the quick service dining plan and I've never had it before. And so I was just wondering how do we know what meals and drinks will be included. I don't want to be ordering things that aren't included in the plan

    Hi Hayley! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! I'm excited to hear about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! A summer holiday at the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like the perfect getaway. Let's jump right into your question and help you plan for the ultimate stay!

Adding the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan to your package is a fantastic idea. It allows you to have a majority of your meals accounted for before you even arrive. Each night of your stay, you'll be allotted two quick-service meals (along with a beverage) and one snack. Snacks can range from ice cream to fresh fruit and even a bottle of water. To identify Quick-Service dining locations, stop by the Walt Disney World website and select "All Dining" under the "Things To Do" drop-down menu. Select "Quick Service" from the options toward the top of the screen to reveal all the dining locations that fall in this category. To see if they participate in the Disney Dining Plan, select a dining location and it will state if the dining plan is accepted. This will give you a great idea of what locations you can order from. If you order your meals in person, the Cast Member taking your order will help guide you to items that are included with your dining plan.

Some of these restaurants offer Mobile Ordering through the My Disney Experience App. You can use your Quick-Service Dining Plan to order meals ahead of time and have them ready at a time you specify. This is a great way to maximize your time at the parks and not have to wait in line to order your food. To use this service, download the My Disney Experience App and log into your account. Tap on the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen and select "Order Food." You'll then choose the dining location and begin your order. Remember, a beverage is included with each of your meals, so make sure to select one as well. Once you are ready to place your order, the payment option will automatically defer to your dining plan and you can review your order before placing it.

You can also view the total number of credits remaining on your account throughout your stay. To do so, select "Hotel Reservations" in the My Disney Experience App and scroll down to select "Check Dining Plan." This will populate all of the credits that are available to use for the remainder of your trip.

Hayley, I hope this information helps you plan for your visit. Have a magical trip!
