Hi Jessica,
Welcome to planDisney!
We are happy to have you dropping by planDisney with a question!
The
park hours calendar is definitely a useful tool and I am glad to see that you are using it. Currently, it extends to December 25th. My best advice at this point is to just keep checking as you are, using the 5-day calendar view. I typically just check the park hours for the days I can, make our plans, and then check again as it gets closer to the dates of our visit. Occasionally, I have made some changes, but usually we are able to keep our plans the same.
Looking at your arrival date, I am so excited that you are visiting during my favorite time of year - the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. You should be within your
advanced dining reservation booking window now, so I hope you have secured some dining reservations. Although we have a number of favorite dining locations, one of the hardest reservations for us to get has been
Space 220 Lounge which is now a must-do experience for us on each trip. We love the serenity of this dining location and the food has been yummy!
Jessica, as you continue to plan, remember to consider the crowds at this time of year. We have done Magic Kingdom on Christmas day in years past. We typically arrive early and leave right after lunchtime. One of our girls has difficulty managing crowds, so we always plan with that in mind. We do, however, get in a few attractions and enjoy lunch before we leave! I have one final tip - be sure to check out the
narrators for the Candlelight Processional at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Presented by AdventHealth and note that dining reservations open on October 29th. In the meantime, I am sprinkling a little extra pixie dust trusting that you will be able to see those additional park hours soon and finalize your plans!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
