I want to get the Quick Service Dining Plan. Can I use the quick service credits for character meals? Or do I have to upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan that has table service? Thank you.

Hi, Elizabeth! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question. The Quick-Service Dining Plan provides Guests with two quick-service dining credits and one snack credit per day. The Disney Dining Plan upgrades your dining experience with one table-service credit, one quick-service credit, and one snack credit per day. All character dining experiences are located in table-service dining locations. You will need to upgrade your dining plan if you plan to use a Dining Plan credit for that meal. You could also just keep your Quick-Service Dining Plan if you are not planning to visit many table-service dining locations. If you do this, you will simply pay for your table-service meal out-of-pocket, rather than with a Dining Plan credit. Be sure to make an Advance Dining Reservation for any table-service meal you wish to visit with your family. The character dining experiences are very popular and spots often fill months in advance.

I hope this information helps you, Elizabeth. Please stop by again if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your trip. Have a magical day!
