We have the quick service dining plan and I've looked up menus on the Disney website (very helpful) and was pleased. The only thing I did not see was SNACKS. There is dessert and sides -do they qualify? I am interested in what snacks are available.

    Hello Lydia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Snacks?  Now you're talking!

The 2014 Disney Dining Plan brochure gives a few examples of items that can be redeemed with your Snack credits.  That list includes things like a piece of whole fruit, a Mickey ice cream bar, a soft drink and a scoop of popcorn, but I can tell you from lots of personal snacking experience that the actual list of possibilities is much longer!  I'm not aware of an official list of all the Snack options, but I did find a pretty amazing compilation on the independent site  www.thewdwguru.com (just search for "Disney Dining Snack Credit List" on that site).  I'm hungry just reading through the options!

It's usually pretty easy to tell if something is considered a "Snack" on the Disney Dining Plan.  A special symbol will be next to that item on the menu, but if you're ever in doubt, just ask a Cast Member for help.

I hope that helps and happy snacking, Lydia!  And if you have any extra Snack credits left over, can you pick up a Dole Whip for me?
