I have the 2020 Quick Service Dining Plan. If I arrive on January 6th, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. at check-in, will I be able to use my meal plan that night for a meal+2 snacks? Will I have enough credits to get 2 meals + 2 snacks on January 7th and 8th? Thank you!

    Hi Breia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us a great question about one of my very favorite aspects of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation...the delicious food! Mmm...

You're going to love the convenience of having the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. My favorite part about the Disney Dining Plan is that I can order whatever sounds best to me, without worrying about the cost since everything is already prepaid. You'll receive two meal entitlements and two snack entitlements per night of your Disney Resort hotel stay. I'm not completely sure how long you'll be staying, but it sounds like possibly two nights, arriving January 6th and heading home on the 8th. If that's the case, you'll receive four meal entitlements and four snack entitlements when you check in to use however you'd like during the length of your stay! If you'll be wanting more meals and snacks than that, you are certainly welcome to pay for them on your own. To help you stretch your Disney dollars, I'd recommend thinking through which meals will be the most expensive and using your Disney Dining Plan to cover those meals. Of course, if you'd like to be able to use the Disney Dining Plan for all of your food, I'd encourage you to look for some heartier snack-eligible options for breakfast or lunch. My friend and fellow Panelist Jessica has some great suggestions on snacks to try for that exact purpose!

Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your trip, Breia. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
