Welcome back to planDisney, James! It sounds like you’re planning a springtime getaway to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I eagerly anticipate the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival every year. Coming from a cold and gray state up north, my Eeyore-like demeanor melts away the moment I see the vibrant blossoms and whimsical character topiaries. But the real highlight? The garden-fresh flavors served up at the Outdoor Kitchens!
Now, let’s talk about the
Disney Dining Plan! While Quick-Service meal credits can’t be used at the festival booths, most food and beverage items do qualify as Snack Credits (one credit per eligible item). To find out if something qualifies, look for the Disney Dining Plan logo on the menu or ask a friendly Cast Member at the register. Using Snack Credits for festival bites is actually one of the best values on the plan, as many dishes and non-alcoholic drinks qualify! The key is to pick the priciest eligible treats to make the most of your credits.
Have you checked out the
Foodie Guide yet? Some of my favorites are making a return this year, like the Orange-Sesame Tempura Shrimp from The Citrus Blossom, the Chicken and Waffles from The Honey Bee-stro, and the Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre from Fleur de Lys. Plus, there are two brand-new booths themed after some of my favorite resorts: Beach Grub and Yacht Grub. A perfect nod to those seaside vibes!
And don’t forget to grab a Festival Passport so you can participate in Garden Graze. This delicious food stroll features ten select dishes from the Outdoor Kitchens. Collect five stamps in your passport, and you’ll earn a special complimentary treat from Pineapple Promenade, because what’s a festival without a sweet surprise at the end?
Wishing you a trip filled with sunshine, stunning blooms, and scrumptious bites, James! If you need any more tips, I’m always happy to help.
