Hi, Sandra! This is a bloom-tastic question! While Epcot's World Showcase is always a favorite dining destination for my family, we especially love to head there when this theme park is hosting one of its outstanding festivals. The
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival is currently underway and I have been buzzing all over social media this week for pictures and reviews of the
Outdoor Kitchens. You are in for such a treat, Sandra! There are several festival favorites returning this year, such as the Violet Lemonade at the Pineapple Promenade, Frushi at Hanami in Japan, and (my personal favorite) the Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash at The Smokehouse in the American Adventure. There are also many yummy looking new entries that I cannot wait to try, especially the Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Orange Blossom Honey Ice Cream from the aptly named Honey Bee-stro.
While enjoying this festival, Sandra, you are welcome to use your Disney Dining Plan snack entitlements to purchase any eligible item at the Outdoor Kitchens. Eligible items are always signified by the purple and white Disney Dining Plan logo next to its description. At this time, guests are not able to use Quick Service entitlements in the usual way at these festival locations. However, you should be able to "swap" them to purchase any two items that count as snacks, as long as you do so in a single transaction. Since alcoholic drinks are not snack-eligible, then you will need to pay for these out of pocket.
I hope this helps you plan a bee-eutiful day in Epcot! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
