Hi! Quick question please! If we have a lunch reservation at Grand Floridian (we are staying off property), I know we can park for lunch but will we be able to leave our car there and go straight to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the day?

Welcome back to planDisney, Emma! We are so glad you've come back with another question! Like Jiminy Cricket, I am happy to "be your guide" today!

I hope you enjoy dining at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! There are many delicious dining opportunities here, and one of my favorites is Grand Floridian Café. If you haven't experienced dining here, add it to your list on a future visit! Typically, when you have an advanced dining reservation at a Disney Resort Hotel and are not a guest staying there, you have a three-hour parking limit. That gives you time to dine and explore the resort grounds and gift shops! Leaving your vehicle at Grand Floridian isn't the best idea. You may be at risk of having being towed.

Since you plan on visiting Disney's Magic Kingdom Park after lunch, I think leaving your car in the parking lot there is the best option. You can take the Monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center and then hop on the Monorail to Grand Floridian afterward to Magic Kingdom. Another fun way to get there is the walkway! There is a 12-15 minute (depending on your pace!) walking path with scenic views of Seven Seas Lagoon. My sister Tiffany and I enjoyed walking to Magic Kingdom after dining at Grand Floridian Café on a previous visit!

Emma, thank you again for visiting planDisney. I hope your holiday to Walt Disney World Resort is "practically perfect in every way!". Reach out again if you need additional pixie dust planning for your vacation. You've got a friend in me!

    See Ya Real Soon,
