Ahoy Vance - welcome to planDisney!
Thanks so much for swimming by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Disney adventures!
I'm so excited about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line sailing next month, and I love that you've already done your homework on
this important topic! Each adult Guest over the age of 21 can bring up to two bottles of wine or six beers on board at the beginning of your voyage and at each port of call. There may be additional guidelines for certain special itineraries or ports of call, so be sure to review any of the documentation you receive in advance of Embarkation Day!
Vance, the good news is that your alcoholic beverages can be individual cans or bottles, and they do not all have to be packaged together as a single six-pack. The requirement that they be in their original container refers to the bottles or cans needing to be unopened and sealed, but it's fine if they are no longer in the actual cardboard six-pack holder that they may have been purchased in. Also, know that you are not limited strictly to "beer" - in my experience, anything that's similar in volume and alcohol content, such as hard seltzers and other malt beverages, has been allowed. Be sure you include the alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) beverages in your carry-on luggage and you should be all set!
I hope this information helps your planning efforts –
stop by any time with additional questions! Oh, and before I forget, make sure to check out all the magical excitement surrounding Disney Cruise Line’s
Silver Anniversary at Sea!
Bon voyage!
