    Are there quick markets or convenience stores in the resorts so that we can purchase some fresh food and make simple breakfast or meals in the hotel room, which comes with a full kitchen?

    Hi Nora,

    You do not say if you are driving or flying to your Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort. If you are driving or have a rental car, there are grocery stores located near WDW. Some popular chains are Albertson's and Publix. Both of these have a wide variety of goods.

    If you are not able to have access to a car, then you always have the small store at your resort. This will stock items such as cereal, bread, milk and other quick meals.

    You could also request a grocery delivery from the Garden Grocer. You shop on line and then they deliver your items to your resort. If you are not there, bell services will hold your items until you return even the perishable ones.

    When we vacation in a room with a kitchen, we generally bring in our suitcases any non-perishable or non-liquid item we want to have on vacation such as cereal, snacks, pasta, peanut butter even the syrup in double zippered top bags. We then only go to the store at our resort for milk, eggs and spaghetti sauce. Plus all the space used for the food on the way down tells us how much room we have for souvenirs!
