Hi Rhonda,

I used my Disney Reward card two weeks ago and put the tip on it. This card is just like regular money in the Walt Disney World Resorts.

You can use it at counter service restaurants, gift shops and at your resort to pay for your room.

Another way to limit the amount of cash is to put your credit card on your room key. This is what I do so that I do not need to carry cash into the parks. Also, having the credit card on file allows you to express checkout which is a nice feature as you do not need to go to the front desk the morning you are departing.

However, if you are renting a car, you will need cash for the toll roads as well as parking at the theme parks.
