Bright Suns, Jana!
Welcome back! It’s always a delight when you stop by planDisney with your question for us.
You must be thrilled your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! I’m excited to hear you’ll be exploring
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge inside
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s genuinely incredible how Guests feel instantly transported to the planet of Batuu. I just know you and your young Padawan will have a blast!
Jana, I love that you want to take a look at the Chess Room in the queue of
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. I was able to sit for a photo opportunity when it first opened, and it is a memory I will cherish forever.
I’m happy to tell you that you and your daughter will be able to wait in the queue and let the Cast Member at loading know you’d like to exit. They’ll be able to tell you where to exit without having to board the attraction.
Another thing I would recommend doing is, upon your arrival at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, you speak to the Cast Member attendant who is helping Guests at the entrance. Let them know about your situation and your wish to see the Chess Room. This will be at the discretion of the Cast Member, but thankfully, they’re usually happy to accommodate these types of requests. If you can, I suggest doing this first thing in the morning when crowds are lower. This way, you won’t feel rushed as you explore the queue.
Afterward, I hope you and your daughter treat yourselves to a delicious cup of Batuu’s legendary
Blue or Green Milk at the
Milk Stand. It’s fun seeing which flavor Guests end up preferring. If you’re wondering, I’m Team Blue Milk!
Wishing you and your daughter an enchanting visit, Jana!
