Howdy Greg!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney, a group of the rootinest tootinest Disney vacation enthusiasts you ever will meet! You’ve got a friend in me, Greg, and I would be happy to help round up some answers for you.
Upon the reopening of
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park, theme park capacity will be significantly limited to comply with governmental requirements and promote physical distancing. Park attendance is managed through a new
theme park reservation system that will require all Guests to obtain a park reservation for park entry in advance. At this time, only California residents may visit the parks, and proof of residency may be required.
I highly recommend that you purchase your theme park tickets online through your Disney account. It will streamline the process, and your tickets will already be linked to your account, making it easier to make those theme park reservations. While you cannot make theme park reservations without first purchasing theme park tickets, you can check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure the dates you plan to visit are available. Once you have confirmed the availability of the theme park reservations, go ahead and
purchase your theme park tickets. You can then immediately go to the
theme park reservation system to make those theme park reservations.
I hope you have a magical time at
Disneyland Resort! Please stop back by
planDisney if we can help lasso more answers for you.
