    Hello there...2 questions..we have reservations Nov 12- nov 23 at Port Orleans Riverside ..our children are 4, 6, &13...does the resort do anything special in room for first time visitors/kids..also will we have magic bands/when? would like to customiz

    Hi Denise!

    Congratulations on reserving your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!  You and your family will love the decor and beauty of Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort.  The Riverside Mill offers great options for you to start your day, including a cappuccion machine for those java lovers!

    Upon check-in, your resort MAY provide you with first-time visitor buttons, but that is a possibility, not a guarantee.  Typically, all guests are welcomed to the resort, but there is no special extras in room for first time guests.

    As for MagicBands, you will be notified via email or regular mail roughly 30-45 days prior to your stay if your resort will be participating in MB training.  When you log on to your My Disney Experience, you will see a pop up that will allow you to customize your bands if you are selected for MB trial.
