    3 questions regarding Magic Bands. (1) what if the battery dies? Where can I get it replaced? (2) how do I verify or change my pin number? (3) If I have multiple bands do I need to select just one to use during my vacation and how to I do that on MY D

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Roger! MagicBands are my favorite accessory when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I’m happy to help you understand how they work, so that you will know just what to do during your next magical visit!

    Your MagicBand battery is supposed to last about 2 years. If for whatever reason, your band stops working for you during your stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you can always visit the Front Desk, where a friendly Cast Member will be happy to get you squared away with a new one. 

    The Front Desk of your Disney Resort hotel is also the place to go when you need to reset the pin on your band. It probably takes all of five minutes to do this, so don’t worry at all if you can’t remember your pin number from your previous visit. 

    When it comes to having multiple bands linked to your profile on your My Disney Experience account, you won’t have to worry about picking and choosing. As long as the bands are linked to your profile on your account and active, you can use any and all of your bands! I sometimes can’t decide if I feel like a red band or a purple band for the day. Although, when I visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I always use my slinky dog themed MagicBand!

    Roger, did you know that you can purchase a character themed band at shop Disney before your visit? Just make sure it’s linked to your My Disney Experience account, so it will be ready and waiting for your theme park adventures!
