hello, my questions is are there porters on ship that would take our luggage down for we are thinking about a limousine over the Disney bus to Grand Floridian. We are in a suite on the 12 floor and do not want to carry our luggage down, thanks you all

Welcome aboard, Connie! Disney Cruise Line makes it so easy to transition from land to sea and back again, especially if you're using their ground transfers to head to one of the Walt Disney World Resorts after your cruise vacation.

But, even if you arrange for your own transportation, you will find it a breeze to disembark and locate your limousine outside the port terminal. Guests are asked to leave their tagged luggage outside of their staterooms the night before disembarkation by 10:30 p.m. Luggage is picked up and stored and guests will retrieve their luggage in the terminal as they exit the ship the following morning. It really makes it easy so you don't have to haul your bags around the ship to disembark. You'll simply carry your day bags that morning and meet your larger luggage in the terminal.

Now, if you're staying in Concierge Level suite onboard the ship, your concierge will assist you further with luggage information the night prior to disembarkation, but the process is similar and you will not have to bring your own bags off the ship.

As you enter the terminal, there will be porters with carts available to assist you with your luggage. Be sure to bring some cash, as it is traditional to tip them for their assistance. They will assist you in finding your luggage (which will be in a specifically tagged area according to the luggage tags you receive the night before), as well as take your luggage through customs with you and out to your transportation.

Once you arrive at the Grand Floridian, a Cast Member will meet you outside to begin your check-in process and a porter will take your bags right there as well. It really couldn't be any easier. Disney is tops in customer service and truly makes every guest feel like royalty.

I hope that helps as you plan your cruise vacation and your transition back to land after the sailing, Connie! Have a magical trip!
