Hi! I have 2 questions. I’m traveling for a work conference and planning on extending my stay. Does WDW still offer complimentary luggage transfer between resorts? We will also be taking advantage of twilight tickets one evening; can we apply for DAS?

Howdy, Brooke, and welcome to planDisney! All work and no play sounds absolutely villainous, so I'm thrilled you're extending your work trip to add some time at Walt Disney World Resort. I think you and I would get along great!

First, I took advantage of complimentary luggage transfer a few days ago, and it was as easy as gooseberry pie! Bell Services kept my suitcase for me while I spent a day in the theme parks, and when I arrived at my new Disney Resort Hotel room, I called with the claim number. A friendly Cast Member brought my bag to me in no time. My Mickey suitcase is ginormous, so I was sure to tip accordingly.

Also, I like how you think by planning some after-hours fun! Whether you're considering a ticket to a Disney After Hours event or taking advantage of Extended Evening Theme Park Hours for Deluxe Hotel guests, you're sure to have a magical time.

I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said guests who have been approved for DAS are typically able to use the service during most after-hours events.

She added that at most after-hours events, you'll get your return times directly from Cast Members at each attraction, so the process might be a little different depending on the event you're attending.

Guests with autism or similar developmental disabilities can apply for DAS 60 days before arrival, so you're within the window to reach out to the team. To begin the approval process, click "Request Live Video Chat" on the DAS page.

Just so you know, the guest requesting DAS must be present on the call. I recommend double-checking with them about the specific event you're attending to be sure the service will be active then and how you will secure your return times.

April is a fantastic time to soak in the magic, so I hope you check out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The Outdoor Kitchens have some delectable items, and I can't wait to try the Grilled Street Corn on the Cob at the Beach Grub location!

Brooke, I hope I've helped you on your planning journey. Please come back to planDisney with any additional questions. Have a practically perfect time!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
