2 questions about Candlelight processional dinner package. If we do lunch at one of the restaurants do we still get reserved priority seating for the night show? Which is the best participating restaurant? How is La Hacienda de San Angel?

Hi, Kimberly! The Candlelight Processional dinner package is really the way to go in my opinion to enjoy this incredible holiday offering at Epcot.  You get your meal, which you may have done anyway, and then you'll have priority seating at the theater, where lines for shows can start forming two hours or more ahead of time in the standby line.

The time you choose for your meal dictates the show time that you will attend.  If you have your heart set on a specific show (and there are three nightly, one at 5:00, one at 6:45, and one at 8:15), you'll want to book your meal at a time that corresponds to a particular show.

If you book lunch, which would be a lunch time before 2:45 PM, you will be assigned to the 5 o'clock show.  Meals booked between 3 and 4:30 will be given admission to the 6:45 show.  If you opt for a dinner reservation between 4:30 and 6 o'clock, your show will be the 8:15 show that night.  The choice you have to make is if you want to do a lunch reservation, which is less expensive than the dinner option, or if you really want to do the last show of the evening, which will mean a dinner reservation.

As for best participating restaurant, that really is up to personal preference.  La Hacienda de San Angel is a lovely restaurant with wonderful food, although they only offer dinner on the Candlelight Processional package.  My kids love the Biergarten, where you'll enjoy a traditional German buffet with all the hoopla of Oktoberfest.  My husband and I are trying Spice Road Table for the first time this year.

I hope you enjoy the show!
